Exactly 2 more weeks to SYF. Many have achieved their goals, can we?

I got more worried after today's prac. When wls pracced Shu Qing after Jian Nan Hao, I didn't play the first half of the piece cos my shao zi wasn't ready. I'm very scared that this kind of things will crop up in competition. ): I realised that it may not be a good thing for us to start off with our set piece. Cos there'll be a long break before I blow my suona for the actual performance. I'm afraid that the shao zi won't be opened, I'm afraid that our intonation will be off, I'm afraid that my lower notes will not come out..... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! Die. There's a serious need for me to practise getting used to the suona w/o warming up beforehand.

Nothing is impossible; it's just a matter of whether you're willing to do it or not.

Haha! Due to my busy schedule, I have to update many things at one go, so pardon me for the overflowing contents.

First thing that occured ytd was Physics lecture test. I know I'm failing it for sure, cos I nvr study properly for it. Not blaming anyone or anything, cos i'm to be blamed. But well, I dont wanna care anymore. Just make sure I understand whatever I don't now and do well for the Chem lecture test which is coming next week. Hoho!

Next was NAPFA test! Though I'm not very good, I was lucky to clinch a gold award once again! HOHO KUDOS TO ME! I realised that we only have 1 more NAPFA test to go! HOHO! After next year, we'll say byebye to NAPFA test! WHEEEEE! As expected, Rachel's very good at pull-ups! She did 52 lah! She could've done more but the teacher said the system has a maximum limit to key in, so she can't go beyond that. HAHA!

After school there was CO. I can feel that we're improving. I hope our progress can make it in time for SYF! As it was Randy's b'day, we celebrated after dazu. The suonas planned to blow the b'day song when the co sang it, but it was a failure attempt cos we didnt know the notes after the first line! HAHAHA! It was very shi bai cos we were still trying very hard to figure the notes when they've alrdy started to cut the cake. HAHAHA! Though I've already said this many times, I still wanna say....

HAPPY B'DAY WANGLONG!!!

Today's the day after NAPFA test. In other words, it's the day when our muscles ache the most!! My thighs are very very pain. ): I think I had been walking in a very robotic way cos I couldn't really bend my legs while I walk. It was exceptionally painful when I sit, squat and climb the stairs (esp downwards!).

Today's also NYCO's SYF day. As seniors, all of us have a common dress code-- wear co jacket, to show our support for NYCO! At first, I was pretty calm and neutral about it. But somehow, my anxiety started rushing in halfway through my physics lecture. I just couldn't wait for lessons to end so that I can rush my way to SCH! When my lessons finally ended, I headed to SCH with Layting and Liying. As we wanted to get smth for juniors, we went to Raffles City. Then we saw a Ben and Jerry's outlet! Since the both of them were craving for the free icecream very badly, we went to queue despite the super long queue. Yup, so we queued for 30min. -.- HAHA! But not bad lah, at least my first Ben and Jerry's icecream is free and I even asked for a mixture of flavours! :D I think I was quite emo/dao while queuing cos I was nervous for NYCO. HAHA! And very sorry to Chewfei and Chinsian for not answering your calls (cos I was eating icecream and holding on to my file, so I didn't have an available hand to check my phone! VERY SORRY!)

Finally at SCH. I was very very scared for NYCO! Like I told NYCO when they were still deciding on their choice piece, I would most likely tear when I hear them play Chun. Indeed, I started tearing at Lixian's solo part at the front part! Fortunately the outcome didnt' disappoint us; they got GWH once again! :D CONGRATULATIONS NYCO! YOU GUYS DID A GREAT JOB!!! Hope it has been a wonderful experience for all of you!:D:D:D

Before the results were out, I suddenly felt that the results didnt matter anymore. In my heart, NYCO is already the champion, cos of her strong spirit. The NYCO spirit is the thing that touched me the most. Look at how the grand seniors/seniors flocked back to support the juniors despite their busy schedule, look at how the members supported one another during the tough times, look at how the members stayed tgt as they went through the thick and thins, listen to how the members cheered their hearts out when they finally achieved their goal! This is what I call a family, where you feel the love. Perhaps this is why I love NYCO so much; it's just like a second home to me. YEAH MAN! MY LOVE FOR NYCO IS UNBEATABLE! but i guess it's time for me to find a new love... LOL!!! Please keep this spirit going! :D

On the other hand, I felt kinda scared after watching today's SYF. On stage, it is inevitable for accidents to happen. Whenever an orchestra's guanyue got out of tune, I'd picture how HCCO does the same thing on stage. 1. Guanyue is very audible. 2. Guanyue cannot be tuned. I'm really very scared that our intonation will spoil the music. ): We may prac a lot but once the intonation gets out of control, that's it. AHHHHHHHHHHH! STRESSSSSSSSSSSS! But nvm, I'm more motivated to prac my suona now. YEAH MAN! WE CAN DO IT! JIAYOU JIAYOU!!!!! (omg, next tue is SCH rehearsal alrdy! and syf is next next wed!!! ):)

Ok, shall post this in advance cos I'm very sure my blog will be on hiatus again! haha!

HAPPY SWEET SEVENTEEN NETTE!!! <3

This is my 'once in a blue moon' blog post. HAHA! Since I'm (relatively) free now, i shall blog about the interesting xiaozu i had ytd!

During our break, Limyang, Xueyan, Willie, Randy and I played chapteh at the back of mph. Guess what? All of them agree that I'm not bad considering that I'm still a greenhorn! Hoho! I think Randy's really pro at chapteh. (ok, hope he doesnt see this or it'll boost his ego lol!)

Before we returned to our practice, we played a 5-point game, Willie and Randy (the pros) VS Xueyan, Limyang and Sheila (i just realised that we form the S63 team! haha!) Many would expect the pro team to win, but they were too complacent, that's why the S63 team won! (ehh wait? we won right?! haha! cant rmb cos it was a very close fight. towards the end, it was 4:4 and we kept kicking the chapteh 'out of court')

The only thing I could rmb was Randy threw Limyang's chapteh up to the slope (the one at the back, where there's also one chapteh stuck there). Apparently it got stuck up there. Wonder why he did that. Once it's stuck there, it's almost impossible for us to go up there to retrieve it. So Randy apologized to Limyang and promised to buy him a new one. But Limyang still wanted his own chapteh back badly. Randy then promised to buy him a box of chapteh. HAHA! Surprisingly, Limyang still didnt give up. In the end, Willie, Xueyan and Limyang were trying very hard to get the chapteh back. I suggested that they throw something round/that can roll to get to push the chapteh down. Initially, Limyang got a broken drumstick. Guess what? It was not 'rollable' enough that it got stuck there as well. HAHA! I wonder where they got this toy egg which is rubbery and bouncy. Willie climbed up a tall stack of chairs and threw the 'egg' to get the chapteh.

It was very funny cos they were trying extremely hard just to get back a chapteh. HAHA! At first, Limyang and I were holding on to the tall stack of chairs which Willie was standing on cos it was kinda shaky. Then Limyang was very scared that the 'egg' would land on his head, so he grabbed the chairs with 1 hand and covered his head with another hand. HAHA! Then he couldnt stand it, so he walked away. LOL! It was so funny that Randy, Jingying and dont know who else took a video/photos of us trying very hard to retrieve a stuck CHAPTEH.

After numerous attempts, Willie thought of using a broom to sweep the chapteh down. As he was sweeping, the dust up there fell onto me, who was grabbing on to the chairs. -.- We even told Willie that he has to get the chapteh down or we won't get GWH. HAHA! Finally, we got the chapteh back. WOOHOOO!!!! LIMYANG, YOU MUST TREASURE THAT CHAPTEH OK! COS WE 上高山,下油锅 TO SAVE YOUR CHAPTEH! HAHAHA!

Next Tue is NYCO's SYF! I'm so gonna chiong to SCH after my lessons. HOHO! NYCO! MUST JIAYOU AND DO YOUR BEST! DONT LEAVE ANY REGRETS! MRS EE MUST JIAYOU TOO! Play Chun with ur heart and touch me to tears! :D I've confidence in you guys! :D

Speaking of SYF, the JC SYF is also coming soon. I'm worried. Cos I'm gonna play an instrument in a competition when I've only learnt it for 4mths. As compared to strong rivals (dont wanna mention who), what are we? So what if it's good enough that we can play all the notes? Do you think the adjudicators will think that it's commendable that we've mastered a new instrument within such a short period of time? No. They'll only judge us based on what they hear. ): I'm scared cos I can't tu3 yin1 (my tongue isnt fast enough), my notes are not in tune all the time (and we can't hun4 cos we're one of the loudest instruments) and my lowest notes cant come out most of the time. ): How? What if I cant make it before SYF? I'm really scared cos I dont wanna implicate the entire CO. HCCO has very glorious records of achieving honours for the past few SYFs. What if HCCO breaks the 'record' this year becos of me....? ):

What's life without a motivation? It feels like an empty shell; it feels as though we're living for the sake of living; it's like leading a life without a specific direction. Sighs. I hate this feeling. I have no motivation to do my work. I need a motivation. How to find motivation? What can be my motivation? Please tell me. I don't wanna lead such a meaningless life.
